Sorry I didn't update yesterday, was shagged. Our hostel room never cooled down, and neither did the night life downstairs, so we got about 2 hours of sleep. Lisbon was really fun though. On our first night there, we went out in search of a place to print our train tickets for the next day and ended up drinking caipirinhas in a Jazz Bar and watching a lot of Fado from outside of other cafes. WE got back to our hostel around 1am. And everything was still alive outside. We had people talking under our window until 5am, when the breeze finally started and we got a little sleep. We woke up at 8 and packed our bags, and left them with our nice hostel lady and handed in our key. We walked down and had breakfast at a cafe down the stairs. Then kept walking to the Rossio metro and rode it to Oriente, to go to the Oceanarium. It was awesome, and there are lots of pictures down there. Anyways, after that, we caught the 28 all the way over to Belem, and went to the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, which you will also see below. We didn't go in, the line was huge, but we ate nearby and walked around the outside. We also went to the birthplace of the pastel de nata, and I ate one or two. Then we hopped on the tram, and got back to the hostel, dragged our bags down to Avenida's Metro station, and got to the Estacao de Santo Apolonia really early. So, we chilled inthe internet waiting room, which was pointless. It smelled like paint, and was hot, and the internet service blocked every single good site - only my mail could I retrieve! ANyways, hopped on the train, napped for a bit, got to Porto. Immediately showered, then ate, then fell asleep. Today we just bopped around. Slept till noon, watched CSIrish (waking the dead), went out with Rute to El Corte Ingles and bought new flip flops and shorts, then went to Diogo's grandparent's house, picked up Ivan and went to a cafe. This place will make me fat. But it'll be a happy type of fat. Anyways, then we went to the grocery store and picked up some things we couldn't pack in carryons, walked back to Ivan's/Diogo's grandparents' and picked up Ivan's stuff, and now we're all sitting in Andreia's living room. Chillin'. Waking up bright and early to go to the beach.
Anyways,
pictures!
The Estacao do Oriente. Bitchin' architecture. There's also a shopping centre across the street that's supposed to be an upturned boat, and it has water running over the top. WATER. ON. THE. ROOF.
More damn fish.
Vasco De Gama bridge in the distance. 10 miles long!
The largest unsupported roof ever. Gangsta.

Sunfish. More on him later.
